Orange Nails and Ice Cream

I took Eva to the cardiologist this morning for an echocardiogram and a checkup.  Her repair looks great - no leaks!  She has some fluid collecting around her heart though, so the doctor is going to follow that closely, and I have to watch her for changes in her breathing rate. We go back in a week for another echo and possibly a chest x-ray.  Hopefully there will be less fluid next Friday.

It was a quiet afternoon - we picked up the boys from school and went to Baskin Robbins.  

Tonight Eva decided to paint Declan's nails orange.  He sat very still while she did it - but he wants me to take it off before we go anywhere tomorrow!

I think that tomorrow we are going to go to an area of Denver that has many Asian stores - the kids all need new Chinese New Year outfits, and it's hard to buy them online because the sizes vary from merchant to merchant.  According to one online store's size chart, Eva wears a size 2 for her waist, but a 4-5 for her height.  Declan's waist is ever smaller. Looks like binder clips or safety pins! I think Eva can handle about an hour of shopping as long as we don't have to walk around much.  I'll choose one store and they will all find something there.
