The nurse practitioner was just in, and she said that the surgery on the heart was successful and they are closing her up. We should be able to see her in about 45 minutes.
They are going to keep her sedated until tomorrow morning when they remove the breathing tube and we've been told that it will be tough to see her with all the tubes and wires. I'm ready though....as much as I can be.
We've spent the morning in the Ronald McDonald room, complete with snacks and drinks and comfortable recliners. It has made the wait more comfortable, if not easier.
Thank you all so much for the prayers.

So happy to hear things went so well with Eva's surgery!! Are you in Colorado and is she at Children's Hospital?? Some of the pictures look familar, I used to work there and we live about 10 miles from there. If I can help in any way, please let me know!! Take care and thanks for the update!! Joanna
