Blue Fingernails - Painted, That Is!

Today Rebecca - Eva's nurse - wanted to paint Eva's nails for her.  Eva wasn't sure about the color - Ocean Blue - so my dad offered to get his thumbnail painted first so she could see it.  You'd have to know my dad to know how funny it is!

She's struggling with pain and nausea.  She has managed to keep a few sips of apple juice down, so hopefully that's a step in the right direction.

One of our dear friends was just here, and she brought me a Starbucks latte, and brought a hand-made fleece blanket for Eva.  She hasn't wanted to even be covered by the sheet today, but now she's cuddled up under the softness of the new blankie and is sound asleep with it pulled over her head.  A perfect gift!

She has slept off and on most of the day, and I'm praying for a better night for her tonight.
