Eva was doing so well yesterday afternoon and evening that the doctor said as long as her chest x-ray didn't show too much fluid this morning, she could go home. The x-ray looked great, and we were able to leave the hospital at about 1:00!
We came straight home and had a visit from my friend Pat and her four girls, all adopted from China. I didn't get any pictures. Maybe next time.
Eva is now resting on the couch after a little bumping episode with Declan. They were in her room, and he wasn't paying attention and bumped her chest fairly hard. Both were in tears when I got there - Eve from pain and Declan from feeling terrible. They're fine now - lots of gentle hugs, with Eva reassuring Declan that she's all right.
I'll post again tomorrow about how her first full day at home went.
