Doll Clothes and a Regular Room

Sunday Snapshot

Just a quick post and some pictures today!

We moved to a nice HUGE room yesterday afternoon in the regular pediatrics unit - so the boys are able to visit, and she can have more than 2 people at a time in her room.  It's nice, it has a desk, a couch that folds into a twin bed (was quite comfortable last night).

Last night the boys came to see her, and they played with her new matching game and brought her some doll clothes.  Brennen helped to dress her doll.

She was so happy to see them!  Declan gave her a big hug - but a very gentle one.

She just got her chest tube out - which was traumatic for her, but it's out and now she will be able to walk around more easily.

Tomorrow she gets some surprise visitors, and probably home on Tuesday if she's eating and walking enough!

She says to tell everyone reading the blog "Thank you for being interested in me."  She is thrilled that so many people care about her.  I've been reading the comments to her - she loves it.

  5. I remember two surgeries and hated having that chest tube removed, but boy did I feel better after it was out. I could sit up straight and breath a whole lot better.

So happy that Eva is doing so well!
